- All-purpose flour - 250 grams
- Warm water - 150 ml
- Active dry yeast - 5 grams
- Sugar - 5 grams
- Salt - 5 grams
- Olive oil - 15 ml
- Chili garlic sauce - 50 grams
- Shredded mozzarella cheese - 150 grams
- Green onions - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Red bell pepper - 50 grams, diced
- Fresh cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- In a small bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until foamy.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine flour and salt. Make a well in the center and add the yeast mixture and olive oil.
- Mix until a dough forms, then knead on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for 20 minutes or until doubled in size.
- Preheat your oven to 220°C (428°F).
- Once the dough has risen, punch it down and roll it out into a 30cm circle on a floured surface.
- Transfer the dough to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Spread the chili garlic sauce evenly over the crust, leaving a small border around the edges.
- Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese on top, followed by diced red bell pepper and chopped green onions.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh cilantro and sesame seeds before slicing.
