- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Rice vinegar - 1 tablespoon
- Brown sugar - 1 teaspoon
- Green onions, chopped - 2 stalks
- Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - to taste
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
- In a large bowl, toss the cauliflower florets with cornstarch until evenly coated.
- Spread the coated cauliflower on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and drizzle with 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Roast in the preheated oven for 20 minutes or until golden and crispy.
- While the cauliflower is roasting, prepare the sauce. In a small saucepan, heat the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and ginger to the saucepan, sautéing for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Stir in the red chili flakes, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and brown sugar. Let the sauce simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Once the cauliflower is done roasting, remove it from the oven and add it to the saucepan with the sauce. Toss well to coat the cauliflower evenly.
- Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
