Ingredients

  • Ground beef (halal) - 300 grams
  • Chili garlic sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic cloves (minced) - 2
  • Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Green onions (chopped) - 2 tablespoons
  • Cilantro (chopped) - 2 tablespoons
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Burger buns - 2
  • Lettuce leaves - 2
  • Tomato (sliced) - 1
  • Cucumber (sliced) - 1
  • Sriracha sauce - for serving (optional)

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, chili garlic sauce, minced garlic, soy sauce, chopped green onions, chopped cilantro, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Divide the beef mixture into two equal portions and shape them into burger patties.
  3. Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
  4. While the patties are cooking, toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster until lightly golden.
  5. Assemble the burgers by placing a lettuce leaf on the bottom half of each bun, followed by the cooked patty, sliced tomato, and cucumber. Add sriracha sauce if desired.
  6. Top with the other half of the bun, serve immediately, and enjoy!
