Ingredients
- Fresh crab - 500 grams
- Garlic - 6 cloves, minced
- Fresh red chili - 2, finely chopped
- Ginger - 1 tablespoon, minced
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Oyster sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Green onions - 2, chopped
- Cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
- Water - 100 ml
Steps
- In a large pot, bring water to a boil and add the fresh crab. Cook for 5-7 minutes until the crab turns bright red. Remove the crab and let it cool.
- Once cooled, crack the crab shells and remove the meat, keeping it in large pieces. Set aside.
- In a wok or large skillet, heat sesame oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic, ginger, and chopped red chili. Stir-fry for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add the crab meat to the wok and gently stir to coat with the garlic mixture.
- Pour in the soy sauce and oyster sauce, mixing well. Add salt and black pepper to taste.
- Add 100 ml of water to the wok and cover. Let it simmer for 5-7 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
- Uncover and let the sauce thicken for another 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and cilantro before serving.
