- Boneless chicken breast - 250 grams, thinly sliced
- Snow peas - 150 grams, trimmed
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, minced
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Oyster sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- Cornstarch - 1 tablespoon
- Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
- Water - 50 milliliters
Steps
- In a bowl, combine the sliced chicken with soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, cornstarch, salt, and black pepper. Mix well and let it marinate for about 10 minutes.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the marinated chicken and stir-fry until it is cooked through and no longer pink, approximately 5-7 minutes. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil. Stir in the minced garlic and ginger, cooking for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the snow peas to the skillet and stir-fry for about 2-3 minutes until they are bright green and tender-crisp.
- Return the cooked chicken to the skillet, add 50 milliliters of water, and stir everything together to heat through for another 1-2 minutes.
- Serve hot, garnished with additional black pepper if desired.
