- Chicken breast - 300 grams
- Jasmine rice - 150 grams

- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Cucumber - 1, sliced

Steps
- In a pot, bring 500 ml of chicken broth to a boil. Add the chicken breast, ginger, and garlic. Reduce heat and let it simmer for about 20 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked.
- Once cooked, remove the chicken from the pot and set it aside to rest. Keep the broth for cooking the rice.
- In a separate bowl, rinse the jasmine rice under cold water until the water runs clear. This helps remove excess starch.
- In the same pot with the chicken broth, add the rinsed rice and bring it to a boil. Then reduce the heat to low, cover, and let it cook for about 15 minutes or until the rice is fluffy and fully cooked.
- While the rice is cooking, prepare the dipping sauce by mixing soy sauce and sesame oil in a small bowl.
- Slice the poached chicken into thin strips and serve it over the fragrant rice, garnished with chopped green onions and cucumber slices.
