- Black pepper - 1 teaspoon
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Spring onions - 2, chopped for garnish
Steps
- In a large bowl, combine the soy sauce, oyster sauce, Shaoxing wine, five-spice powder, minced garlic, ginger, sugar, black pepper, and sesame oil to create a marinade.
- Add the chopped goose pieces to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F). Line a baking tray with foil and place a wire rack on top.
- Arrange the marinated goose pieces on the wire rack, ensuring they are not touching each other.
- Roast the goose in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, turning halfway through, until the skin is crispy and the meat is cooked through.
