- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Egg - 1 large
- Cabbage - 100 grams, shredded
- Carrot - 1 medium, grated
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Lettuce leaves - 4 large
- Sriracha or chili sauce - to taste
Steps
- Cook the rice noodles according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground chicken or turkey, green onions, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, egg, shredded cabbage, grated carrot, salt, and black pepper.
- Add the cooked rice noodles to the meat mixture and mix thoroughly until well combined.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and lightly grease it. Form the noodle mixture into two patties and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
- While the patties are cooking, prepare the burger by layering a lettuce leaf on the bottom, followed by the noodle patty, and drizzle with Sriracha or chili sauce to taste. Top with another lettuce leaf.
