- Shrimp (large, peeled and deveined) - 300 grams
- Fresh ginger (sliced thin) - 20 grams
- Scallions (chopped) - 2 stalks
- Garlic (minced) - 2 cloves
- Soy sauce (low sodium) - 2 tablespoons
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Coriander leaves (for garnish) - a handful
Steps
- Prepare the shrimp by rinsing them under cold water and patting dry with a paper towel.
- In a bowl, combine the shrimp with sliced ginger, minced garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and black pepper. Mix well and let marinate for 10 minutes.
- While the shrimp is marinating, prepare a steamer by filling a pot with water and bringing it to a simmer.
