- Cabbage - 200 grams, thinly sliced
- Firm tofu - 150 grams, cubed
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Vegetable oil - 1 tablespoon
- Spring onions - 2, chopped
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
- Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon, toasted
Steps
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add the cubed tofu and fry until golden brown on all sides, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the tofu and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and grated ginger. Stir-fry for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the sliced cabbage to the skillet and stir-fry for 5 minutes until it starts to soften.
- Return the tofu to the skillet and add soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and black pepper. Stir well to combine and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Remove from heat and garnish with chopped spring onions and toasted sesame seeds before serving.
