Ingredients

  • Cabbage - 200 grams, chopped
  • Firm tofu - 200 grams, cubed
  • Carrot - 1 medium, julienned
  • Bell pepper - 1 medium, sliced
  • Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
  • Ginger - 1 teaspoon, minced
  • Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Vegetable oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Green onions - 2, chopped
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the cubed tofu and fry until golden brown on all sides, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the tofu from the pan and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, add garlic and ginger, sautéing for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add the chopped cabbage, carrot, and bell pepper to the pan, stirring well to combine. Cook for 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
  5. Return the tofu to the pan and pour in the soy sauce and sesame oil. Stir to coat all ingredients evenly.
  6. Season with salt and black pepper to taste, then cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  7. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
