Ingredients

  • Napa cabbage - 200 grams, shredded
  • Carrot - 100 grams, julienned
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Ginger - 1 teaspoon, minced
  • Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Vegetable oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Green onion - 2 stalks, chopped
  • Red chili flakes - 1/2 teaspoon (optional)
  • Salt - to taste

Steps

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a large wok or frying pan over medium-high heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and ginger, and stir-fry for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Add the julienned carrots and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until they begin to soften.
  4. Add the shredded Napa cabbage and continue to stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes until the cabbage wilts.
  5. Drizzle the soy sauce and sesame oil over the vegetables, and toss to combine.
  6. Season with salt and red chili flakes (if using) to taste, and stir-fry for an additional minute.
  7. Remove from heat and garnish with chopped green onion before serving.
