- all-purpose flour - 200g
- water - 120ml
- cabbage, finely shredded - 100g
- carrot, grated - 50g
- green onions, sliced - 2
- garlic, minced - 2 cloves
- ginger, grated - 1 teaspoon
- soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
- sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- oil for frying - 2 tablespoons
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour and salt. Gradually add water while mixing until a dough forms. Knead for about 5 minutes until smooth.
- Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rest for 10 minutes.
- In another bowl, mix the shredded cabbage, grated carrot, sliced green onions, minced garlic, grated ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, black pepper, and salt until well combined.
- Divide the rested dough into 2 equal portions. Roll each portion into a circle about 15 cm in diameter.
- Place half of the vegetable mixture onto one half of each dough circle, then fold the other half over to cover the filling. Press the edges to seal.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a skillet over medium heat. Place one flatbread in the skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown. Repeat with the second flatbread, adding more oil if necessary.
- Remove from the skillet and let cool slightly before slicing into wedges. Serve warm.
