  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
  • Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Vegetable broth - 200 ml
  • Red pepper flakes - 1/2 teaspoon (optional)
  • Green onions - 2, chopped (for garnish)
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Drain the tofu and press it gently to remove excess moisture. Cut it into 1-inch cubes.
  3. In a large oven-safe skillet, heat the sesame oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and grated ginger, and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Add the cubed tofu to the skillet and cook until golden brown on all sides, about 5-7 minutes.
  5. Pour in the soy sauce and vegetable broth, stirring gently to combine. Season with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes if using.
  6. Add the fresh spinach to the skillet, stirring until it wilts, about 2-3 minutes.
  7. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 15 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  8. Remove from the oven, garnish with chopped green onions, and serve hot.
