Ingredients

  • Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons

  • Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
  • Chicken broth - 150 ml
  • Cornstarch - 1 teaspoon, mixed with 2 teaspoons water
  • Vegetable oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Green onions - 2, chopped for garnish
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a large pan over medium heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and ginger, sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Add the prawns and cook until they turn pink, about 3-4 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same pan, add the broccoli, carrot, and bell pepper, stir-fry for 5 minutes until slightly tender.
  5. Pour in the chicken broth, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil, then bring to a simmer.
  6. Return the prawns to the pan, stirring to combine with the vegetables and sauce.
  7. Add the cornstarch mixture, stirring continuously until the sauce thickens, about 2-3 minutes.
  8. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  9. Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions.
