Steps

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and grated ginger, sautéing for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Add the cubed daikon radish and stir-fry for about 5 minutes until slightly softened.
  4. Pour in the soy sauce, vegetable broth, maple syrup, and rice vinegar. Stir well to combine.
  5. Bring the mixture to a simmer, cover the pan, and reduce the heat to low.
  6. Let it braise for 15-20 minutes until the daikon is tender, stirring occasionally.
