- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, minced
- Green bell pepper - 1, sliced
- Onion - 1 small, sliced
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- Cornstarch - 1 tablespoon (optional, for thickening)
- Water - 50 ml
Steps
- In a bowl, mix the sliced chicken with soy sauce, minced garlic, minced ginger, and black pepper. Let it marinate for 10 minutes.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add the marinated chicken to the skillet and stir-fry for about 5-7 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.
- Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the sliced onion and green bell pepper. Stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until they are slightly tender.
- Return the chicken to the skillet, add water, and stir to combine. If using, mix cornstarch with a little water to make a slurry and add it to thicken the sauce.
- Drizzle sesame oil over the mixture, stir well, and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
