Ingredients

  • Whole wheat pizza crust - 1 (about 200g)
  • Firm tofu - 150g, crumbled
  • Canned black beans - 1/2 cup (120g), rinsed and drained
  • Red bell pepper - 1/2, diced
  • Green onions - 2, chopped
  • Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon (15ml)
  • Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon (5ml)
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Fresh cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Mozzarella cheese - 1/2 cup (60g), shredded
  • Chili flakes - 1/2 teaspoon (optional)
  • Salt - to taste
  • Pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 220°C (425°F).
  2. In a bowl, combine the crumbled tofu, black beans, red bell pepper, green onions, soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, cilantro, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are combined.
  3. Spread the pizza crust on a baking sheet or pizza stone.
  4. Evenly distribute the tofu and black bean mixture over the pizza crust.
  5. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the mixture.
  6. If desired, add chili flakes for extra heat.
