- Whole wheat pizza crust - 1 (about 200g)
- Firm tofu - 150g, crumbled
- Canned black beans - 1/2 cup (120g), rinsed and drained
- Red bell pepper - 1/2, diced
- Green onions - 2, chopped
- Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon (15ml)
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon (5ml)
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Fresh cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Mozzarella cheese - 1/2 cup (60g), shredded
- Chili flakes - 1/2 teaspoon (optional)
- Salt - to taste
- Pepper - to taste
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 220°C (425°F).
- In a bowl, combine the crumbled tofu, black beans, red bell pepper, green onions, soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, cilantro, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are combined.
- Spread the pizza crust on a baking sheet or pizza stone.
- Evenly distribute the tofu and black bean mixture over the pizza crust.
- Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the mixture.
- If desired, add chili flakes for extra heat.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the crust is golden brown.
