- Chinese five-spice powder - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Bao buns - 2 pieces
- Cucumber - 1/2 (sliced thinly)
- Fresh cilantro - 1/4 cup (chopped)
- Sriracha - to taste (optional)
Steps
- In a large bowl, mash the cooked black beans until mostly smooth, leaving some texture.
- Add the cooked quinoa, chopped green onion, minced garlic, grated ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, cornstarch, Chinese five-spice powder, salt, and black pepper to the mashed beans. Mix well until combined.
