- Spring onions - 2, finely chopped
- Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Oyster sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- Cornstarch - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon

- Lettuce leaves - 2 pieces
- Tomato - 1, sliced
- Cucumber - 1/2, sliced
- Mayonnaise - 2 tablespoons
- Chili sauce - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, black beans, minced garlic, grated ginger, chopped spring onions, soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, cornstarch, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are incorporated.
- Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape them into burger patties.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add a little oil. Cook the burger patties for 5-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked through and browned.
- While the burgers are cooking, prepare the sauce by mixing mayonnaise and chili sauce in a small bowl.
- Toast the burger buns lightly in the same skillet for 1-2 minutes until golden.
- Assemble the burgers: spread the sauce on the bottom half of each bun, add a lettuce leaf, place the beef and black bean patty on top, followed by tomato and cucumber slices. Top with the other half of the bun.
