- Black bean sauce - 3 tablespoons

- Ginger - 1 inch, minced
- Bell pepper - 1 medium, sliced
- Onion - 1 medium, sliced
- Green onions - 2 stalks, chopped
- Cornstarch - 1 tablespoon
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
- Soy sauce (gluten-free) - 1 tablespoon
- Water - 100 milliliters
Steps
- In a bowl, combine the sliced beef with cornstarch, soy sauce, and 1 tablespoon of water. Let it marinate for 10 minutes.
- Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef and stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until browned. Remove the beef and set aside.
- In the same wok, add sesame oil, garlic, and ginger. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the sliced onion and bell pepper, stir-frying for another 3-4 minutes until they are tender.
- Return the beef to the wok, add black bean sauce and the remaining water. Stir well to combine and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.
- Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
