Ingredients

  • Cherry tomatoes - 200 grams
  • Strawberries - 200 grams
  • Brown sugar - 100 grams
  • Water - 100 ml
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Skewers - 4

Steps

  1. Wash and dry the cherry tomatoes and strawberries. Remove the stems from the strawberries.
  2. Thread 5 cherry tomatoes and 5 strawberries alternately onto each skewer.
  3. In a small saucepan, combine the brown sugar, water, and lemon juice. Heat over medium heat until the sugar dissolves completely.
  4. Increase the heat and bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce to a simmer for 5-7 minutes until it thickens slightly.
  5. Remove the syrup from heat and let it cool for a minute.
  6. Dip each fruit skewer into the syrup, ensuring they are well coated, and place them on a parchment-lined plate.
  7. Allow the skewers to cool until the glaze hardens slightly, about 5-10 minutes.
