Ingredients
- All-purpose flour - 200 grams
- Water - 100 milliliters
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Egg - 1 large
- Ground pork - 100 grams
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Chili oil - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Scallions - 2, chopped
- Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
- Cilantro - a handful, chopped
Steps
- In a large bowl, mix the all-purpose flour and salt together. Gradually add the water while stirring until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth. Cover with a damp cloth and let it rest for 20 minutes.
- While the dough is resting, prepare the sauce. In a pan over medium heat, cook the ground pork until browned. Add minced garlic and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.
- Stir in soy sauce and chili oil, and let simmer for another 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.
- After resting, divide the dough into two equal pieces. Roll each piece into a long rope, then flatten it with your hands and stretch it into a wide noodle shape.
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the noodles for about 2-3 minutes until they float. Drain and rinse under cold water.
- To serve, place the noodles in bowls, top with the pork mixture, and garnish with chopped scallions, sesame seeds, and cilantro.
