Ingredients

  • Pizza dough - 250 grams
  • Halal ground beef - 150 grams
  • Green bell pepper - 1, diced
  • Red onion - 1 small, thinly sliced
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Oyster sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Chinese five-spice powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Mozzarella cheese - 100 grams, shredded
  • Chili oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Fresh cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 220°C (428°F).
  2. In a skillet, heat a tablespoon of chili oil over medium heat and add minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant.
  3. Add the halal ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Stir in the soy sauce, oyster sauce, Chinese five-spice powder, diced green bell pepper, and sliced red onion. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Cook for an additional 5 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
  5. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
  6. Transfer the rolled dough to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Spread the beef and vegetable mixture evenly over the dough.
  8. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the top of the pizza.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
  10. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a couple of minutes. Top with fresh cilantro before slicing and serving.
