- Beef sirloin - 250 grams, thinly sliced
- Zucchini - 1 medium, sliced into half-moons
- Soy sauce (Kosher) - 2 tablespoons
- Cornstarch - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, minced
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
- Green onions - 2, chopped
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
Steps
- In a bowl, combine the sliced beef with soy sauce, cornstarch, garlic, ginger, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Mix well and let marinate for 10 minutes.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef and stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil and the sliced zucchini. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until the zucchini is tender-crisp.
- Return the cooked beef to the skillet and add sesame oil and chopped green onions. Stir everything together and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes to combine the flavors.
- Serve hot, garnished with additional green onions if desired.
