Ingredients

  • Beef sirloin - 250 grams, thinly sliced
  • Zucchini - 1 medium, sliced into half-moons
  • Soy sauce (Kosher) - 2 tablespoons
  • Cornstarch - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Ginger - 1 teaspoon, minced
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Green onions - 2, chopped
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine the sliced beef with soy sauce, cornstarch, garlic, ginger, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Mix well and let marinate for 10 minutes.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef and stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil and the sliced zucchini. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until the zucchini is tender-crisp.
  4. Return the cooked beef to the skillet and add sesame oil and chopped green onions. Stir everything together and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes to combine the flavors.
  5. Serve hot, garnished with additional green onions if desired.
