- Oyster sauce (kosher) - 1 tablespoon
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
- Cornstarch - 1 tablespoon
- Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Green onion - 2 stalks, chopped for garnish
Steps
- In a bowl, combine the sliced beef with soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, cornstarch, and black pepper. Marinate for 10 minutes.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add the marinated beef to the skillet, spreading it out in a single layer. Stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until the beef is browned and cooked through. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil. Add the fresh spinach and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until wilted.
- Return the beef to the skillet with the spinach, tossing to combine. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes to heat through.
- Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions.
