  • Soy sauce (kosher) - 2 tablespoons
  • Oyster sauce (kosher) - 1 tablespoon
  • Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
  • Cornstarch - 1 tablespoon
  • Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Green onion - 2 stalks, chopped for garnish

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine the sliced beef with soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, cornstarch, and black pepper. Marinate for 10 minutes.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the marinated beef to the skillet, spreading it out in a single layer. Stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until the beef is browned and cooked through. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil. Add the fresh spinach and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until wilted.
  5. Return the beef to the skillet with the spinach, tossing to combine. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes to heat through.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions.
