- Beef sirloin - 250 grams, thinly sliced
- Red bell pepper - 1 medium, sliced
- Green bell pepper - 1 medium, sliced
- Yellow bell pepper - 1 medium, sliced
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, minced
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Cornstarch - 1 tablespoon
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Scallions - 2 stalks, chopped (for garnish)
Steps
- In a bowl, combine the sliced beef with 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, cornstarch, and black pepper. Mix well and let it marinate for 15 minutes.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef and stir-fry for about 5 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil. Add minced garlic and ginger, sautéing for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the sliced bell peppers to the skillet and stir-fry for about 4-5 minutes until they are tender yet crisp.
- Return the cooked beef to the skillet, and add the remaining tablespoon of soy sauce and sesame oil. Stir-fry everything together for an additional 2-3 minutes to combine and heat through.
- Serve hot, garnished with chopped scallions.
