- Beef sirloin - 250 grams, thinly sliced
- Shiitake mushrooms - 150 grams, sliced
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, minced
- Soy sauce (K kosher) - 3 tablespoons
- Cornstarch - 1 tablespoon
- Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
- Onion - 1 medium, sliced
- Bell pepper - 1 medium, sliced
- Green onions - 2, chopped
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
Steps
- In a bowl, combine the sliced beef with 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, cornstarch, and black pepper. Mix well and let it marinate for 10 minutes.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef and stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until browned. Remove the beef from the pan and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil. Add the minced garlic and ginger, and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the sliced onion and bell pepper to the skillet. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
- Add the shiitake mushrooms to the skillet and cook for another 2-3 minutes until they soften.
- Return the beef to the pan, add the remaining tablespoon of soy sauce and sesame oil, and stir-fry everything together for another 2 minutes until heated through.
- Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
