- Beef sirloin - 250 grams, thinly sliced
- Kale - 150 grams, chopped
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, minced
- Soy sauce (Kosher) - 2 tablespoons
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Cornstarch - 1 tablespoon
- Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
- Green onion - 1, sliced (for garnish)
Steps
- In a bowl, combine the sliced beef, soy sauce, cornstarch, minced garlic, and minced ginger. Mix well and let it marinate for about 10 minutes.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add the marinated beef to the skillet and stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until browned. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the remaining 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil and add the chopped kale. Stir-fry the kale for about 2-3 minutes until it starts to wilt.
- Add the cooked beef back into the skillet with the kale. Drizzle sesame oil over the mixture, and stir well to combine. Cook for an additional 2 minutes.
- Season with salt and black pepper to taste, and garnish with sliced green onion before serving.
