Ingredients

  • Cauliflower - 200 grams, cut into small florets

  • Oyster sauce - 1 tablespoon (ensure it's kosher)
  • Cornstarch - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
  • Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
  • Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Green onions - 2, chopped (for garnish)
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine the sliced beef with soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Allow it to marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until browned. Remove the beef from the pan and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil and add the cauliflower florets. Stir-fry for about 5-7 minutes until the cauliflower is tender but still crisp.
  4. Return the beef to the skillet with the cauliflower, add sesame oil, and season with salt and black pepper to taste. Stir everything together and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat through.
  5. Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions.
