- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Cornstarch - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, minced
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
- Green onions - 2 stalks, chopped for garnish
Steps
- In a bowl, combine the sliced beef with soy sauce, cornstarch, minced garlic, and minced ginger. Mix well and let marinate for 10 minutes.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef and stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove the beef from the pan and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil. Add the asparagus and stir-fry for about 3-5 minutes until they are tender-crisp.
- Return the beef to the skillet with the asparagus. Drizzle with sesame oil, and season with salt and black pepper to taste. Stir everything together and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes to heat through.
- Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions.
