Ingredients
- Beef sirloin - 250 grams
- Soy sauce (gluten-free) - 2 tablespoons
- Peanut butter - 2 tablespoons
- Honey - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic (minced) - 1 clove
- Ginger (grated) - 1 teaspoon
- Lime juice - 1 tablespoon
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- Skewers (soaked in water) - 4 pieces
- Cilantro (for garnish) - a handful
Steps
- Cut the beef sirloin into thin strips, about 2 cm wide.
- In a bowl, mix the gluten-free soy sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, honey, lime juice, and sesame oil to create the marinade.
- Add the beef strips to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes.
- Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
- Thread the marinated beef strips onto the soaked skewers, about 4-5 strips per skewer.
- Grill the satay sticks for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the beef is cooked to your liking.
- While the beef is grilling, prepare the peanut dipping sauce by mixing the peanut butter with a little warm water to thin it out and adjusting the consistency until it is smooth.
- Serve the grilled beef satay sticks hot, garnished with fresh cilantro and accompanied by the peanut dipping sauce.
