Ingredients

  • Water - 150 ml
  • Spring onions - 2, finely chopped
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Baking powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Vegetable oil - for greasing

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, spring onions, minced garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and a pinch of salt.
  4. In a separate bowl, beat the egg and mix it with water.
  5. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until a smooth batter forms.
  6. Fold the beef mixture into the batter until evenly distributed.
  7. Grease a baking dish with vegetable oil and pour the beef pancake batter into it, spreading it evenly.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
