- Soy sauce (low sodium) - 2 tablespoons
- Oyster sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- Green onion, chopped - 2 tablespoons
- Bell pepper, finely chopped - 50 grams
- Carrot, grated - 30 grams
- Lettuce leaves (Butter or Romaine) - 6 large leaves
- Chili flakes - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
Steps
- In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and ginger, sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Increase the heat to medium-high and add the ground beef, cooking until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
- Stir in the soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, chili flakes, salt, and black pepper. Cook for another 2-3 minutes.
- Add the chopped green onion, bell pepper, and grated carrot to the beef mixture, stirring well to combine.
- Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
- To serve, scoop the beef mixture into the lettuce leaves, fold, and enjoy.
