Steps
- Cook chow mein noodles according to package instructions, drain, and set aside.
- In a large skillet or wok, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
- Add sliced beef sirloin to the skillet, season with salt and black pepper, and stir-fry until browned, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add minced garlic and ginger to the skillet, stirring quickly to avoid burning, and cook for an additional 1 minute.
- Add the julienned bell pepper and carrot, and stir-fry for about 2-3 minutes until they begin to soften.
- Add the cooked chow mein noodles to the skillet along with soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil. Toss everything together to combine well.
- Add bean sprouts and chopped green onions, and stir-fry for another 2 minutes until everything is heated through.
- Taste and adjust seasoning with more soy sauce or salt if needed before serving.
