- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Oyster sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Cornstarch - 1 teaspoon
- Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
- Green onions - 2 stalks, chopped
- Bean sprouts - 100 grams
- Bell pepper - 1 medium, sliced
- Carrot - 1 medium, julienned
- Water - 100 milliliters
Steps
- If using dried rice noodles, soak them in warm water for about 20 minutes until softened, then drain.
- In a bowl, marinate the sliced beef with soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch for 10 minutes.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large wok or frying pan over medium-high heat.
- Add the marinated beef to the pan and stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until browned and just cooked through. Remove the beef and set aside.
- In the same pan, add the remaining tablespoon of oil. Add minced garlic and grated ginger, and stir-fry for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add sliced bell pepper and julienned carrot, stir-frying for about 2-3 minutes until they begin to soften.
- Add the bean sprouts and soaked rice noodles to the pan, along with 100 milliliters of water. Stir well to combine and cook for another 2-3 minutes until the noodles are heated through.
- Return the cooked beef to the pan, add chopped green onions, and toss everything together for another 2 minutes to combine the flavors.
- Serve hot, garnished with additional green onions if desired.
