Ingredients

  • Cooked jasmine rice - 2 cups
  • Beef sirloin - 200 grams, thinly sliced
  • Carrot - 1 medium, diced
  • Bell pepper - 1 medium, diced
  • Frozen peas - 1/2 cup
  • Green onions - 2, chopped
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Soy sauce - 3 tablespoons
  • Oyster sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add the sliced beef and cook for about 3-4 minutes until browned. Remove the beef from the pan and set aside.
  2. In the same pan, add another tablespoon of vegetable oil. Add minced garlic and diced carrots, stirring for about 2 minutes until the carrots soften.
  3. Add the diced bell pepper and frozen peas to the pan, cooking for another 2-3 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
  4. Add the cooked jasmine rice to the pan, breaking up any clumps. Stir well to combine with the vegetables.
  5. Return the cooked beef to the pan. Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Stir-fry for an additional 3-4 minutes, ensuring everything is well mixed and heated through.
  6. Finally, mix in the chopped green onions and cook for another minute. Remove from heat and serve hot.
