Ingredients
- beef sirloin - 200 grams, thinly sliced
- fresh spinach - 150 grams, washed and drained
- garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- ginger - 1 teaspoon, minced
- soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- oyster sauce - 1 tablespoon
- sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
- cornstarch - 1 teaspoon
- water - 50 ml
- salt - to taste
- black pepper - to taste
- sesame seeds - for garnish
Steps
- In a bowl, mix the sliced beef with soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, and a pinch of black pepper. Let it marinate for 10 minutes.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef and stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove the beef from the skillet and set it aside.
- In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil. Add the minced garlic and ginger, and stir-fry for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the fresh spinach to the skillet, and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until wilted.
- Return the cooked beef to the skillet, add water, and drizzle with sesame oil. Stir everything together and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
- Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper, if needed. Serve hot, garnished with sesame seeds.
