- Beef sirloin - 200 grams, thinly sliced
- Bell pepper (red) - 1 medium, sliced
- Bell pepper (green) - 1 medium, sliced
- Onion - 1 small, thinly sliced
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, minced
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Oyster sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
- Cornstarch - 1 teaspoon
- Water - 50 ml
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
Steps
- In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, cornstarch, and water. Mix well and set aside.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add the sliced beef to the pan and stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove the beef from the pan and set aside.
- In the same pan, add the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil. Add the sliced onion, bell peppers, garlic, and ginger. Stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
- Return the cooked beef to the pan with the vegetables. Pour the sauce over the mixture and toss everything together for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through and the sauce thickens slightly.
- Season with salt and black pepper to taste before serving.
