Ingredients

  • Beef sirloin - 200 grams, thinly sliced
  • Bell pepper (red) - 1 medium, sliced
  • Bell pepper (green) - 1 medium, sliced
  • Onion - 1 small, thinly sliced
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Ginger - 1 teaspoon, minced
  • Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Oyster sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
  • Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Cornstarch - 1 teaspoon
  • Water - 50 ml
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, cornstarch, and water. Mix well and set aside.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the sliced beef to the pan and stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove the beef from the pan and set aside.
  4. In the same pan, add the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil. Add the sliced onion, bell peppers, garlic, and ginger. Stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
  5. Return the cooked beef to the pan with the vegetables. Pour the sauce over the mixture and toss everything together for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through and the sauce thickens slightly.
  6. Season with salt and black pepper to taste before serving.
