Ingredients

  • Bell pepper (red) - 1 medium, sliced
  • Broccoli florets - 100 grams
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
  • Soy sauce (low sodium) - 2 tablespoons
  • Oyster sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
  • Cornstarch - 1 teaspoon
  • Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Spring onions - 2, chopped (for garnish)

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine the sliced beef with soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch. Mix well and let marinate for 10 minutes.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large frying pan or wok over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the marinated beef to the pan in a single layer and cook for 2-3 minutes until browned, stirring occasionally. Remove the beef from the pan and set aside.

  5. Add the sliced mushrooms, bell pepper, and broccoli to the pan, stirring frequently. Cook for about 4-5 minutes until the vegetables are tender yet crisp.
  6. Return the cooked beef to the pan, and add the sesame oil. Stir everything together for another 2-3 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with chopped spring onions.
