Ingredients

  • Cooked jasmine rice - 2 cups
  • Beef (thinly sliced, Halal) - 200 grams
  • Eggs - 2 large
  • Green onions (chopped) - 2 tablespoons
  • Carrot (diced) - 1 small
  • Frozen peas - 1/2 cup
  • Soy sauce (low sodium) - 2 tablespoons
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic (minced) - 2 cloves
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large frying pan or wok over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the thinly sliced beef and stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until browned and cooked through.
  3. Remove the beef from the pan and set aside.
  4. In the same pan, add another tablespoon of vegetable oil, then add minced garlic and diced carrots. Stir-fry for 2 minutes.
  5. Add the frozen peas to the pan and continue to stir-fry for another 2 minutes.
  6. Push the vegetables to the side of the pan and crack the eggs into the empty space. Scramble the eggs until fully cooked, then mix them with the vegetables.
  7. Add the cooked jasmine rice to the pan, followed by the cooked beef. Pour in the soy sauce and sesame oil, and toss everything together until well combined and heated through.
  8. Season with salt and black pepper to taste, then stir in chopped green onions.
