Ingredients

  • Beef sirloin - 250 grams, thinly sliced
  • Cabbage - 200 grams, shredded
  • Carrot - 50 grams, julienned
  • Bell pepper - 1 medium, sliced
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
  • Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Oyster sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Green onions - 2, chopped (for garnish)

Steps

  1. Prepare all the ingredients: slice the beef, shred the cabbage, julienne the carrot, and slice the bell pepper.
  2. In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the minced garlic and grated ginger, and stir-fry for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add the sliced beef to the skillet; season with salt and black pepper. Stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until the beef is browned and cooked through.
  5. Add the shredded cabbage, julienned carrot, and sliced bell pepper to the skillet. Stir-fry for another 3-5 minutes until the vegetables are tender but still crisp.
  6. Pour in the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil. Stir well to combine all ingredients and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  7. Remove from heat and garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
