  • Beef sirloin - 200 grams, thinly sliced
  • Broccoli florets - 150 grams
  • Carrot - 1 medium, julienned
  • Red bell pepper - 1 medium, sliced
  • Green onion - 2, chopped
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Rice vinegar - 1 tablespoon
  • Honey - 1 teaspoon
  • Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, honey, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper to create the dressing.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add the sliced beef. Stir-fry for about 5-7 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add a splash of water and the broccoli florets. Cover and steam for about 3-4 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp.
  4. Add the julienned carrot and sliced red bell pepper to the broccoli, cooking for an additional 2 minutes.
  5. Return the cooked beef to the skillet, pour the dressing over, and toss everything together to combine and heat through for another 2 minutes.
  6. Remove from heat and transfer to a serving bowl. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
