- Beef sirloin - 200 grams, thinly sliced
- Broccoli florets - 150 grams
- Egg noodles - 150 grams
- Soy sauce - 3 tablespoons
- Oyster sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, minced
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
- Cornstarch - 1 teaspoon
- Water - 50 ml
- Spring onions - 2, chopped
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
Steps
- Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
- In a bowl, mix the sliced beef with soy sauce, cornstarch, and black pepper. Let it marinate for 10 minutes.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef and stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until browned. Remove beef from the pan and set aside.
- In the same pan, add another tablespoon of vegetable oil. Add minced garlic and ginger, stir-frying for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the broccoli florets and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until they turn bright green and are tender-crisp.
- Return the beef to the pan, add the cooked noodles, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and water. Toss everything together and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.
- Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper to taste. Remove from heat and garnish with chopped spring onions before serving.
