- Broccoli florets - 150 grams
- Egg noodles - 150 grams
- Garlic (minced) - 2 cloves
- Ginger (grated) - 1 teaspoon
- Soy sauce (low sodium) - 2 tablespoons
- Oyster sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Beef broth - 500 milliliters
- Water - 500 milliliters
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- Green onions (sliced) - 2 for garnish
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
Steps
- In a large pot, bring the beef broth and water to a boil.
- Add the minced garlic and grated ginger to the boiling broth.
- Reduce the heat to medium and add the sliced beef. Cook for about 5 minutes until the beef is tender.
- Stir in the soy sauce and oyster sauce, and season with salt and black pepper to taste.
- Add the broccoli florets and cook for an additional 3 minutes until they are bright green and tender-crisp.
- Meanwhile, cook the egg noodles according to package instructions in a separate pot. Drain and set aside.
- Once the broccoli is cooked, add the cooked noodles to the soup and stir to combine.
- Drizzle sesame oil over the soup and mix well.
- Serve hot, garnished with sliced green onions.
