- 200g beef sirloin - thinly sliced
- 150g broccoli florets
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon ginger - minced
- 1 teaspoon garlic - minced
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 50ml beef broth
- Salt - to taste
- Pepper - to taste
- 2 tablespoons water
Steps
- In a bowl, mix the soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, ginger, garlic, cornstarch, and beef broth. Set aside.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat and add a tablespoon of water. Add the broccoli florets and stir-fry for about 2-3 minutes until they are bright green and tender-crisp. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the sliced beef and season with salt and pepper. Stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until the beef is browned and cooked through.
- Return the broccoli to the skillet with the beef. Pour the sauce mixture over the beef and broccoli, stirring well to coat everything evenly.
- Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly and everything is heated through. Serve immediately.
