- Beef sirloin - 200 grams, thinly sliced
- Bok choy - 200 grams, chopped
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, minced
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Red pepper flakes - 1/2 teaspoon (optional)
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
- Green onions - 2, chopped for garnish
Steps
- Heat the olive oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add the sliced beef to the pan, season with salt and black pepper, and stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove the beef from the pan and set aside.
- In the same pan, add minced garlic and ginger, and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the chopped bok choy to the pan and stir-fry for about 2-3 minutes until the bok choy is tender but still crisp.
- Return the beef to the pan, pour in the soy sauce, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes (if using). Stir well to combine and heat through for another 1-2 minutes.
