  • Mushrooms (shiitake or button) - 200 grams, halved
  • Carrot - 1 medium, thinly sliced
  • Green onion - 2 stalks, chopped
  • Soy sauce - 3 tablespoons
  • Hoisin sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon, for garnish

Steps

  1. In a large bowl, combine soy sauce, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, and black pepper to create the marinade.
  2. Add the sliced bell pepper, zucchini, eggplant, mushrooms, and carrots to the marinade, tossing to coat them evenly. Let them marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  3. Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  4. Once the grill is hot, place the marinated vegetables on the grill. Cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they are tender and have nice grill marks.
