- Cauliflower - 1 medium head (about 600g)
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Hoisin sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Honey - 1 tablespoon
- Rice vinegar - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- Red pepper flakes - 1/2 teaspoon (optional)
- Green onions - 2, chopped (for garnish)
- Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon (for garnish)
Steps
- Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
- Remove the leaves and stem from the cauliflower, and cut it into bite-sized florets.
- In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, hoisin sauce, honey, rice vinegar, minced garlic, grated ginger, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes. Mix well to create the marinade.
- Add the cauliflower florets to the bowl and toss until they are well coated with the marinade.
- Spread the cauliflower evenly on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the cauliflower is tender and slightly caramelized, stirring halfway through.
- Once done, remove from the oven and let it cool slightly.
- Transfer the BBQ cauliflower to a serving dish, and garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
