Ingredients

  • Firm tofu - 300 grams
  • Broccoli florets - 200 grams
  • Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
  • Red pepper flakes - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Cornstarch - 1 tablespoon
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon (for garnish)

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Press the tofu to remove excess water, then cut it into 1.5 cm cubes.
  3. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper. Add the tofu cubes and gently toss to coat. Let marinate for 15 minutes.
  4. While the tofu is marinating, prepare the broccoli by cutting it into bite-sized florets.
  5. After marinating, sprinkle the cornstarch over the tofu and toss to coat evenly.
  6. In a large baking dish, combine the marinated tofu and broccoli florets. Drizzle with olive oil and toss again to ensure everything is well-coated.
  7. Spread the mixture evenly in the baking dish and bake for 25 minutes, stirring halfway through, until the tofu is golden and broccoli is tender.
  8. Remove from the oven, sprinkle with sesame seeds, and serve hot.
